Description of manager privileges1

User management: managers – can create and edit access rights for managers in the “Manager management” tab.

User management: applicants – has access to the “Applicants” tab at the programme level and can make changes in it.

User management: evaluators – has access to the “Evaluator management” tab at the organisation level and can create or edit access rights for evaluators in it.

User group management – can create and edit user groups in the “User groups” tab at the organisation level.

Custom text management – can edit various informational texts intended primarily for applicants in the “Custom texts” tab at the organisation level.

Grant programme management – has access to the “Programme management” tab at the organisation level and can create or edit programmes in it.

Evaluation criteria management – has access to the “Evaluation criteria” tab at the programme level and can create and edit evaluation criteria for this programme.

Application management – has access to the “Applications” tab at the programme level and can further work with individual applications, and also has access to the “Contracts” tab at the programme level, where they can generate and send contracts for approved applications.

Application approval – has access to the “Approval” tab at the programme level, where they can approve/reject evaluated applications and determine the approved grant amount.

Impersonation – can log in as a specific applicant or evaluator by clicking the “LOG IN” button next to the respective applicant/evaluator. A manager who does not have this privilege will not see this button in the list of applicants or evaluators.

To use this privilege, the manager must also have one of the following privileges: “Application management”/“Application viewing”/“User management: applicants”/“User management: evaluators”.

Impersonation (read-only) – same as the “Impersonation” privilege, but cannot edit anything after logging in as another user.

Export management – can create and edit export templates in the “Export management” tab at the organisation level.

Data source management – has access to the “Data sources” tab at the organisation level, where they can create and edit recipient groups for bulk notifications.

Running exports – has access to the “Export” tab at the programme level (or application level), where by clicking the “XLSX” icon next to a specific export template they can download an Excel document containing data for the currently selected programme in the format configured in the export template.

Form management – has access to the “Form”, “Interim report” and “Final report” tabs at the programme level and can create and edit application forms, interim reports and financial statements in them.

Notification management – has access to the “Notifications” tab (at the organisation and programme level) and can edit automatic notification emails in it.

Administrative changes to applications – has access to the “Admin changes” tab at the application level and can manually change the status of the selected application in it.

To use this privilege, the manager must also have the “Application management” privilege.

Return application for revision – can reopen an already submitted application and ask the applicant to edit and resubmit it.

To use this privilege, the manager must also have the “Application management” privilege.

Copying forms from other foundations – when creating a new grant/subsidy application form, can copy a form that another entity has created in eGRANT.

Manage announcements – has access to the “Announcements” tab (at the organisation and programme level) and can make changes in it.

Opening evaluations – can open an evaluation for supplementation in the “Evaluation” tab at the application level and ask the evaluator to update the evaluation. Can also mark the evaluation as “completed” in this tab – no further changes can be made to a completed evaluation.

To use this privilege, the manager must also have the “Application management” privilege.

Bulk notification management – has access to the “Bulk notifications” tab at the programme level and can create and edit notifications to be sent to applicants manually.

Application tag management – has access to the “Tags” tab at the organisation level and can create and edit tags (labels) that can be used to mark specific applications in the “Applications” tab.

Programme settings management – has access to the “Settings” tab at the programme level and can make changes in it.

Programme attachment management – has access to the “Attachments” tab at the programme level and can upload various documents intended for applicants.

Programme template management – has access to the “Templates” tab at the programme level and can upload various sample Word documents that can then be generated for specific applications.

Application viewing – has access to the “Applications” tab at the programme level but cannot further work with individual applications. However, they can open specific applications and view everything associated with the application (evaluation, contract, financial statement, etc.).

Custom form management – has access to the “Custom forms” tab at the programme level and can create and edit additional forms intended for completion by the applicant (e.g. change request form) or the manager (e.g. checklist).

Direct contract upload – can individually upload a contract document for specific applications.

Custom menu tab management – has access to the “Custom menu tabs” tab at the organisation level and can create and edit custom tabs added to the menu at the application level (custom forms can be placed in these tabs).

Registry verification – can verify the applicant in publicly available registries. This feature is subject to a fee; if you are interested in enabling this privilege for your organisation, please contact us.

Code list management – can create and edit code lists (predefined lists of values that can be used, for example, when creating forms with dropdown fields).
